Traditional 4-Door Hall Coat and Shoe Storage Cupboard

Bring coats, shoes and everyday belongings together behind Shaker-style doors, with a traditional heavy cornice adding character to your hallway. This handmade solid Scandinavian Redwood pine cupboard combines a dedicated coat-hook section with adjustable shelving for footwear, bags and other essentials.

Choose with or without the extra storage top box from the dropdown menu. The cupboard separates for delivery and requires straightforward securing together in your home.

Maximum External Dimensions

Maximum external width: 160 cm at the top

Maximum external depth: 35 cm

Maximum external height with top box: 235 cm

Height clearance needed to manoeuvre the top box into place: 237 cm

External measurements include top overhangs and the protruding base plinth. The 235 cm overall height applies to the version with a top box. Please check your space, ceiling clearance and delivery access before ordering.

Delivery and Simple Securing Together

Customers must simply secure together the sections in their home using the supplied screws. The delivery team does not carry out this securing task.

The main cupboard separates into 2 sections to make transport and access easier. Place the 2 cupboards next to each other and screw them together. If you choose a top box, add it and screw it into place. This is a straightforward securing task, not a complicated flat-pack assembly.

Internal Layout

Left Coat Section

• 6 double coat hooks at the top.
• 6 double coat hooks halfway down.
• 12 double coat hooks in total.

Right Shelved Section

• 8 fully adjustable or removable shelves.
• Contrasting internal wood-finish shelves are pine; the internal shelf finish is not a selectable stain colour.
• Approximate shelf depth: 29 cm.

Keep shelves in place for shoes, boots, handbags and smaller items, or adjust and remove them to suit your storage needs.

Important Hanging-Space Information

The internal cupboard depth is approximately 29 cm. This is not deep enough for clothes hangers used in the normal way, which is why the coat section has hooks rather than hanging rails.

Choose raw wood for DIY finishing, a waxed or stained and lacquered wood finish, or a painted finish. The ordering groups below include both wood finishes and paint colours.

Light Colours and Finishes

White, Off White, Cream, Elephant’s Breath, Dovetale and Worsted.

Dark Colours and Finishes

Full Hand Waxed, Downpipe, Railings, Stiffkey Blue and Hague Blue.

Special Colours

Green #1, Green/Grey #5, Green #16, Green #21, Yellow #1 and Yellow #2.

Wood Colours

External wood stain choices are pine, honey, medium oak or dark oak.

Choose your stain from the 4 available in the wood sample chart below and select Full Wood Stain and Lacquer. Enter your chosen external stain in the Special instructions to seller box.

Raw Wood

Select No Finish - Raw wood for DIY finishing for an unfinished cupboard to finish yourself.

Colour Match Mix

A custom paint colour of your choice that is not listed.

If your preferred colour is not shown in the dropdown menu, select the correct colour group from above and include the colour name in the Special instructions to seller box when ordering. For a custom colour match, select Colour Match Mix and include the paint manufacturer and colour name in the Special instructions to seller box.
