At Cheshire Pine and Oak, every piece of furniture is handmade to order in our workshop near Chester, UK.

We do not import mass-produced furniture and nothing we sell is flat packed.
Each item is individually crafted by our time-served cabinet makers and delivered - fully built - by a specialist two-person furniture delivery team.

Your furniture travels directly from our workshop to your home — it is never sent to a delivery depot.

How Our Delivery Works

• Deliveries take place Monday to Friday

• Your delivery date will be confirmed around 5-10 days before delivery when your furniture reaches the final stage of production.

• Because deliveries are planned by route, exact times cannot be selected. However, our delivery team will contact you the day before or early on the day with your timeslot.

Access Information

Please let us know when ordering if:

• You live in a flat or apartment

• There are external steps

• Parking is restricted

Our delivery includes:

• Two-person specialist furniture team

• Delivery to a ground floor room of your choice

• Upstairs delivery is possible and costs £20 per floor - please let us know.

Missed Delivery

If a confirmed delivery is missed, the furniture must return to our workshop.

Missed pre-arranged and confirmed delivery slot: minimum £200 re-delivery fee.

• Access: Notify us if stairs, flats, or limited parking. We can make an upstairs delivery (if the item will fit) and this is £20 per floor - please let us know at the time of ordering so we can confirm the additional cost or let you know if there will be access problems.

Free Collection Option

You can also collect your furniture free of charge from our workshop near Chester.

Many customers arrange collection using:

• Their own vehicle

• A hired van

• Furniture courier services such as Shiply or Proovia

Because our furniture is not boxed, transporters should use blankets and straps.

Delivery FAQs

Do you deliver fully assembled furniture?
Yes. All furniture from Cheshire Pine and Oak is delivered fully assembled. Our team may remove doors temporarily if needed to bring the item into your home.

Do you use pallet delivery companies?
No. We use a specialist two-person furniture delivery team to ensure your furniture is handled safely.

Can you deliver upstairs?
Our standard service includes ground floor delivery only. Please contact us before ordering if you require additional access arrangements.

Can I collect instead of having delivery?
Yes. You can collect your furniture free of charge from our workshop near Chester.

How long do I have to wait?

Orders placed now will be manufactured in June with delivery expected during the whole of July..

Our furniture is made to order in the UK, not mass-produced overseas. Every piece is hand-finished with care, built exactly as you see it on our website. The wait is due to the volume of orders we already have placed and when you receive a beautiful, durable piece it will be worth every day of anticipation.
