Deliveries are MONDAY to FRIDAY between the hours of 8am and 6pm made with a van load covering the area and surrounding areas by our local furniture delivery specialist based here in Chester. This is a 2 person delivery team. Your furniture will NOT go to a delivery holding depot near to you

PRICES are for a downstairs/street level delivery to a room of your choice in one of our delivery areas as pictured below:

All* our products on our website are handmade to order by ourselves in our workshop here in Chester, UK. We do not sell from stock.

  • We will need your full address, postcode and a decription of what you are wanting to order to get a quote for the delivery. We can cover some areas oustside our zones and will book and organise the delivery but we do need to get a price for you first.

AREAS THAT WE DO NOT COVER: 

We can deliver to some areas that are out of our coloured zones but we need to get a price for you FIRST. Please do not place your order with delivery included if you do not live in one of our coloured zones. We will need to quote you a price for this first. 

  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Due to the handmade nature of our business, and as we do NOT import mass produced pre made furniture delivered in a box, we are taking orders for a scheduled MANUFACTURING date late FEBRUARY 2025... We have had an overwhelming number of orders recently placed. Our deliveries are then booked in AFTER your handmade item is built. Deliveries can only be made ONCE your item is built, therefore please remember to include THE WHOLE MONTH OF March 2025 for your delivery to take place. 

This new lead time is due to the overwhelming number of orders that have recently been placed.. The lead times are to be used only as a guide as we do quote THE MAXIMUM lead time. If we get your order placed today built sooner then we will also deliver to you before.

ALL OUR ITEMS are manufactured to ORDER, we do not keep stock. Whether you want it in the RAW WOOD for DIY finishing, Full Waxed or Painted IN ONE OF OUR 11 COLOURS - the choice is yours.

We build your handmade furniture in the order of the date that the orders have been placed. We need to build your item first and then we can arrange your delivery to you.

WE BOOK IN YOUR DELIVERY SLOT… .. when your handmade furniture is constructed…which will be around 10 days BEFORE we are planning to deliver and NOT at the time of ordering.

This contact is made after the machining and sizing of the timber has been done which is before we construct. Your order will have already been started. The next stage is the finishing - knotting process, undercoat and top coat painting and fit the hardware etc.
You will get an email around 10 days BEFORE your delivery advising you of the day, date and if it is an AM (8 - 1) or PM (1 - 6) delivery.

You will be unable to choose a time slot as the deliveries are still personal and worked out with the route in which they will be made. This email will also notify you of any payments outstanding and due dates. 
We will give you a time slot of AM or PM.
Our handmade furniture deliveries are made by a specialist furniture delivery company who are based here in Chester and our
 furniture does NOT go to your local delivery holding depot. Unfortunately we do NOT deliver on Bank Holidays or at the weekends.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • We do not import furniture
  • We do not keep stock and every item is built individually to order. 
  • NONE of our handmade furniture is boxed, flat packed or self-assembly
  • If there are any issues with access or parking please also let us know NOW.
  • We do not use pallet companies offering kerb side drops.
  • DELIVERIES
    • Our deliveries are made with a van load covering the area and surrounding areas by our local furniture delivery specialist based here in Chester. This is a 2 person delivery team. Your furniture will NOT go to a delivery holding depot near to you. 
    • We have 2 Days travelling plus 3 days of deliveries with an number of overnight stays. We deliver to a GROUND FLOOR/STREET LEVEL room of your choice on the day we have booked you in. We do NOT make individual deliveries with one order.
    • Please let us know NOW if you live in a FLAT or APPARTMENT.
    • OUR DELIVERIES are made MONDAY to FRIDAY between the hours of 8am and 6pm. You will get an email around 10 days before your delivery advising you of the day, date and if it is an AM (8 - 1) or PM (1 - 6) delivery. We are unable let you choose a time slot and you will be given AM or PM as this will be dependant on the route in which thay are being made.
    • Unfortunately we do NOT deliver on Bank Holidays or the weekends.
  • If you live in an area that we do NOT deliver to (see list below) please give us a ring or you can COLLECT please see below.. 
  • AREAS THAT WE DO NOT COVER with in our price ranges: 
    • Cental London CONGESTION ZONES (ULEZ is OK) Kent, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Suffolk. Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, East and West Sussex, South West Wales, Ireland, Scotland, The North East, The Isle of Wight and The Isle of Man or Overseas. We can cover some areas that are not in our coloured ZONES. Please let us have your full address and postcode FIRST.

      OUR DELIVERY AREAS:

      Our main 2 person delivery service areas are with in the radius shown in the map above which extend across Cheshire, Yorkshire, The Midlands, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, North Wales and the North West. None of our furniture is supplied flat packed.

      We can also build our items if you would like to arrange your own collection if you live in the areas that we do not cover.

      HIRING A VAN
      or booking a delivery company to collect from here and deliver to them like
      'PROOVIA'
      'SHIPLY'
      or the LOCAL MAN and VAN businesses in their area
      We suggest these type of collection firms due to our furniture being handmade and not boxed like the imported furniture that is about. You will need someone who is used to transporting furniture - ie transport blankets and straps.
      OUR FURNITURE HAS NO PACKAGING.

      LONG LEAD TIMES explained
      Please accept our apologies for any disappointment caused by our long lead times but our order book is now FULL for manufacturing and delivery UP TO THE DATE ABOVE for our handmade furniture. Our time served cabinet makers build everything to order. We are currently working on the high volume of customers orders and getting these items hand built and delivered as fast as we can.

      DELIVERY SERVICE

      Once your furniture is manufactured THE DELIVERY IS MADE TO A STREET LEVEL/ GROUND FLOOR /downstairs room of your choice delivery ONLY.  OUR DELIVERIES are made MONDAY to FRIDAY between the hours of 8am and 6pm. You will get an email around 10 days before your delivery advising you of the day, date and if it is an AM or PM delivery. Unfortunately we do NOT deliver on Bank Holidays or at the weekends. 

      Our Hall and Larder Cupboards are fully assembled and sometimes the delivery driver may take the doors off for ease of getting it in the house and put them on again. If it has a top box this is attached on site.

      Please let us know beforehand if your property involves external steps or stairs or if you live in a flat or apartment.. We MAY need to know at the time of ordering about access.. We can not help on your delivery day if THE ITEMS HAS TO BE TAKEN UPSTAIRS due to the time slots allocated at each of our customers homes and the times that our deliveries have been booked for after yours.

       It takes around 21 days from start to finish for us to manufacture each individual item with all the processes each handmade item goes through. 
      The lead times quoted are due to the high volume of orders and the geography of existing deliveries that we have in. 

      Our deliveries are Monday to Friday and unfortunately, we are not able to offer weekend or bank holiday deliveries at the moment.
        • When furniture is delivered you will be asked to sign for it as proof of receipt. The delivery is made by a specialist furniture delivery company based in Chester. Your furniture will not go to your local delivery depots or be able to come back on another date. We will deliver on the day and date that you have been given. 
        • MISSED DELIVERY: If you have confirmed the delivery date with us and then you are not home on that day when we come - there will be a fixed re-delivery charge of £200 for a new day. Your furniture will be brought back here and the delivery process is started again. We are based just outside of Chester over the border in to North Wales and we also begin and end our delivery run here..Your furniture does NOT go to a delivery holding depot near to you. 
      • If you are not there for a small item couriered delivery a card will be dropped through your door stating how to get your delivery.
      • We will contact you immediately if, for any reason, we are unable to fulfil your online order and we will issue a refund if we unable to complete your order.
