Payment & Pricing – Cheshire Pine & Oak Handmade Furniture

At Cheshire Pine & Oak, we want your payment experience to be simple, flexible, and worry-free. Every piece of furniture is handmade to order in Chester, and we only accept payments in GBP.

No flat-pack. No self-assembly. Just beautiful, fully built furniture delivered straight to your home.

💳 Payment Options

We offer several ways to pay, so you can choose what suits you best:

1. Pay Now - Secure your order immediately

  • Credit Card (Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard)

  • Shop Pay

  • Google Pay

2. Pay on Collection

  • Credit Card, Debit Card, (Visa, Mastercard) Cash

Perfect if you prefer to pay when your furniture is in your hands


3. Pay 15 Days Before Delivery

  • Credit Card, Visa Debit, Mastercard, PayPal, Bank Transfer

  • Ideal if you want to order your furniture now but pay nearer the time

 

❌ Note: Cheques are no longer accepted. A small deposit may be required for some orders.

 

⚠️ Important Information About Payments

  • Changing your mind after paying: If you cancel an order that was paid at the time of purchase, the refund will be minus payment provider fees (these are charged by PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, etc.).

  • We never add extra fees—you only cover the fees already deducted by the payment provider.

🔄 Returns & Refunds

  • 7-day return policy: If you change your mind within 7 days of delivery, we will refund your payment minus original delivery, a re-collection fee of £250, and the payment provider fees.

  • Bespoke items: Custom or colour-matched pieces cannot be returned unless faulty.

  • Collection fees: If we need to collect an item due to a change of mind: You will pay

    • Original delivery cost

    • Collection charge £250

    • Payment provider fees

Our furniture is handmade just for you, so refunds are limited to non-custom items.

❌ Cancelling an Order

  • Before production begins: Contact us ASAP if you need to change or cancel. This is within 4 weeks of placing your order.

  • After production starts: Once materials are ordered and your furniture is being made, cancellations are no longer possible, as each piece is handcrafted for you.

  • We aim to be flexible where possible, so reach out early—we’ll always try to help.

🛠️ Bespoke Orders Policy

  • Each item is made to your specifications: size, finish, and fittings.

  • No 14-day cooling-off period applies to bespoke orders unless the item is faulty.

  • Every piece goes through a full quality check before leaving our workshop.

🚚 Delivery & Collection

  • Orders are added to the next delivery van once built - please see our delivery page.

  • You can also arrange collection from our Chester workshop.
