Solid Wood 4-Door Coat & Shoe Cupboard, 156 cm Wide, 35 or 40 cm Deep, Option 2

Keep coats on double hooks and footwear, bags and everyday essentials on adjustable shelves. Handmade to order in our Chester workshop from solid pine using traditional joinery, this Shaker-style cupboard provides enclosed storage for hallways, cloakrooms and utility rooms.

Choose a 35 cm or 40 cm depth, with or without extra top-box storage. Supplied as 2 fully built cupboard sections, not flat-pack; simply secure the sections together at home using the supplied screws.

External measurements include the top overhang and protruding base plinth. Allow additional clearance for delivery access, opening doors, positioning and securing the sections and optional top box.

The 35 cm-deep version has approximately 29 cm internal depth. Confirm the internal depth of the 40 cm version before ordering if this measurement is important for your belongings. Internal storage dimensions are separate from the maximum external measurements.

Option 2 Internal Layout

  • Left double-door section: 1 row of 6 double coat hooks and 2 adjustable lower shelves.
  • Right double-door section: 1 row of 6 double coat hooks and 2 adjustable lower shelves.
  • Main cupboard total: 12 double hooks and 4 adjustable shelves.

This design uses hooks rather than hanging rails. Standard clothes hangers cannot be used in the normal way at the approximately 29 cm internal depth of the 35 cm version.

Delivery and Securing at Home

Delivered as 2 fully built cupboard sections, plus the top box if selected. Position the sections side by side and simply secure them together using the supplied screws. Fit and secure the top box if ordered. The sections are not flat-pack, but securing them together is required in your home.

Finishes and Colour Groups

Light Colours

White, Off White, Cream, Elephant’s Breath, Dovetale and Worsted.

Dark Colours

Downpipe, Railings, Stiffkey Blue and Hague Blue.

Select your depth, NO Top Box or WITH Top Box, and preferred finish from the dropdowns. For a paint shade not individually listed, confirm the correct colour group and price before ordering, then select the agreed option and enter the shade in Special instructions to seller.

Wood Finishes and Raw Wood

Full Wood Stain and Lacquer is available in pine, honey, medium oak or dark oak. Select No Finish - Raw Wood for unfinished pine suitable for DIY finishing.

Choose your preferred stain using the wood sample chart below, select Full Wood Stain and Lacquer (pine or honey or medium oak or dark oak) in the dropdown and enter your chosen stain colour in Special instructions to seller.

Special Colours

Green #1, Green/Grey #5, Green #16, Green #21, Yellow #1 and Yellow #2.

Select your preferred special shade directly from the dropdown where listed. For Green #21, select a special-colour that is listed then enter the shade in Special instructions to seller.

Colour Match Mix

For a custom colour match, select Colour Match Mix and enter the paint manufacturer and colour name in Special instructions to seller.
