Keep coats and boots together while giving shoes, bags and household essentials their own shelf space. Handmade to order in our Chester workshop from solid pine using traditional joinery, this cupboard combines 2 double-door storage sections with Shaker-style doors and wooden knobs.
Delivered as 2 fully built cupboard sections, not flat-pack. Simply secure the sections together at home and attach the continuous top, or fit the top box if ordered.
Maximum External Dimensions
Height: 190 cm without top box
Width: 156 cm
Depth: 40 cm
External measurements include the top overhang and protruding base plinth. Internal depth is approximately 34 cm. Check the individual sections against your delivery route and allow additional clearance for fitting and opening doors.
With the separately purchased top box, the overall height is 230 cm. Allow additional fitting clearance above this height.
Option 1 Internal Layout
- 1 double-door section: 6 double coat hooks at the top and 2 adjustable lower shelves with a contrasting wood finish.
- 1 double-door section: 5 fully adjustable shelves.
- Main cupboard total: 6 double hooks and 7 adjustable shelves.
The cupboard is designed for hooks rather than a hanging rail. Its approximately 34 cm internal depth is not suitable for standard clothes hangers used in the normal way.
Handles
Wooden knobs are supplied as standard. Your own handles can also be fitted if you send them to us; contact us to arrange this before production.
Finishes and Colour Groups
Light Colours
White, Off White, Cream, Elephant’s Breath, Dovetale and Worsted.
Dark Colours
Downpipe, Railings, Stiffkey Blue and Hague Blue.
Select your preferred paint colour from the dropdown. If a shade is not individually listed, select a colour from the correct group and enter your chosen shade in Special instructions to seller.
Wood Finishes and Raw Wood
Full wood stain and lacquer is available in pine, honey, medium oak or dark oak. Select Hand Waxed - pine colour only for a hand-waxed pine finish, or No Finish - Raw Wood for unfinished pine suitable for DIY finishing.
Choose your preferred stain using the wood sample chart below, select the Full wood staind and lacquer (pine or honey or medium oak or dark oak) option in the dropdown and enter your chosen stain colour in Special instructions to seller.
Special Colours
Green #1, Green/Grey #5, Green #16, Green #21, Yellow #1 and Yellow #2.

Optional Top Box
Add overhead storage with the separately purchased top box. It is not included with this main cupboard. Confirm the size and finish match your cupboard before ordering.
With the top box, maximum external dimensions are 230 cm high, 156 cm wide and 40 cm deep. The top box is transported separately; lift it into position and simply secure it using the supplied screws.
Delivery and Securing the Sections
The cupboard breaks down into 2 built sections with a continuous top for easier delivery. Position the sections, screw them together, then attach the continuous top or fit the top box if ordered. Securing the sections together is required in your home.
