Four-Door Coat and Shoe Storage, Option 2
Keep coats on double hooks and footwear, bags and everyday essentials on adjustable shelves. Handmade to order in our Chester workshop from solid pine using traditional joinery, this Shaker-style combination cupboard provides enclosed storage for hallways, cloakrooms and utility rooms.
Choose a 35 cm or 40 cm depth and select with or without extra top-box storage. The cupboard is supplied as two built sections that you secure together at home, not as one ready-to-position assembled unit.
Maximum External Dimensions
- Width: 156 cm.
- Height without top box: 190 cm.
- Overall height with top box: 230 cm.
- Depth: 35 cm or 40 cm, selected above.
All listed external sizes are maximum measurements, including the top overhang and protruding base plinth. Allow additional clearance for delivery access, opening doors, positioning and securing the sections and optional top box.
The 35 cm-deep version has approximately 29 cm internal depth. Please confirm the internal depth of the 40 cm version before ordering if this measurement is important for your belongings. Internal storage dimensions are separate from the maximum external measurements.
Option 2 Internal Layout
- Left double-door section: one row of six double coat hooks and two adjustable lower shelves.
- Right double-door section: one row of six double coat hooks and two adjustable lower shelves.
- Total across the main cupboard: twelve double hooks and four adjustable shelves.
This design uses coat hooks rather than hanging rails. Standard clothes hangers cannot be used in the normal way at the approximately 29 cm internal depth of the 35 cm version.
Delivery and Securing at Home
Delivered as two fully built cupboard sections, plus the top box if selected. Position the cupboard sections side by side and secure them together using the supplied screws. Fit and secure the top box if ordered. The sections are not flat-pack, but securing them together is required in your home.

Customisation and Other Internal Layouts
Custom internal combinations are available on request. You can also supply your own handles by arrangement before production.
