Solid Wood 2-Door Hallway Cupboard with 3 Shelves – Option 5

Keep coats, shoes and everyday essentials neatly stored behind full-height Shaker-style doors. Handmade to order in our UK workshop from solid Scandinavian redwood pine, this shallow cupboard combines double coat hooks, 1 fixed upper shelf and 2 adjustable lower shelves.

Maximum External Dimensions

Height: 190 cm
Width choices: 60 cm, 80 cm, 90 cm or 100 cm
Depth: 35 cm

Measurements include the top overhang and protruding base plinth. Internal depth is approximately 29 cm. Allow additional clearance for opening doors, positioning and delivery access.

3-Shelf Storage Layout

  • 1 fixed upper shelf, positioned 152 cm from the internal base, for hats, gloves, bags or baskets.
  • Double coat hooks beneath the upper shelf.
  • 2 adjustable, removable lower shelves for shoes and boots, adjustable in 2.5 cm increments.

For higher hooks, request the cupboard without the upper shelf in the Special instructions to seller box. This alternative has 2 lower shelves rather than the standard 3-shelf layout.

Coat Hook Quantities

  • 60 cm width: 5 double hooks.
  • 80 cm or 90 cm width: 6 double hooks.
  • 100 cm width: 7 double hooks.

This shallow design uses hooks rather than standard clothes hangers. Check the internal space against your footwear and other belongings before ordering.

Finishes and Colour Groups

Finished versions have contrasting wood finishes on the top, shelves and knobs. Raw Wood is available for DIY finishing.

Light Colours

White, Off White, Cream, Elephant’s Breath, Dovetale and Worsted.

Dark Colours

Downpipe, Railings, Stiffkey Blue, Hague Blue and Black.

Special Colours

Green #1, Green/Grey #5, Green #16, Green #21, Yellow #1 and Yellow #2.

Wood Finishes and Raw Wood

Full Wood Stain and Lacquer: pine, honey, medium oak or dark oak. Alternatively, select Hand Waxed Pine for a waxed wood finish, or Raw Wood for DIY finishing.

Choose your preferred external stain using the wood sample chart below, select Full Wood Stain and Lacquer in the dropdown menu and enter your chosen stain colour in the Special instructions to seller box.
