Solid Wood Coat & Shoe Cupboard with Top Box – Two-over-Two Doors, 35 cm Deep

Keep coats on double hooks behind the upper cupboard doors and footwear neatly stored in the separate lower shoe cupboard, with a matching 2-door top box included for extra overhead storage.

Handmade to order in the UK from solid Scandinavian redwood pine using traditional cabinet-making techniques, this Shaker-style cupboard suits hallways, cloakrooms and utility rooms. The main cupboard has 2 upper doors over 2 lower doors, rather than full-height doors.

External measurements include the top overhang and protruding base plinth. Internal depth is approximately 29 cm. Allow additional clearance for opening doors, delivery access and fitting the top box.

Approximately 232 cm ceiling clearance is required to manoeuvre the top box into position, allowing 2 cm above the overall height.

Storage Layout and Coat Hooks

The upper cupboard has coat hooks with 1 shelf above them. The separate lower shoe cupboard includes 2 shelves for shoes, boots, bags and other belongings. Shelves are adjustable and removable.

60 cm width: 5 double hooks.
80 or 90 cm width: 6 double hooks.
100 cm width: 7 double hooks.

Standard clothes hangers cannot be used in the normal way at this internal depth, so hooks are fitted rather than hanging rails.

The upper shelf can be omitted at the same price. Enter “without the upper shelf” in Special instructions to seller when ordering. The 2 lower shelves remain included.

Top-Box Delivery and Fitting

The main cupboard and included top box arrive as built units, not flat-pack. The top box travels separately; lift it into position and simply secure it using the supplied screws. The top box is included, not an optional extra.

Handles and Finish Details

Wooden knobs are supplied as standard. Your own handles can be fitted if sent to us before production; arrange this before your cupboard is made. Finished versions offer contrasting lacquer or fully painted - confirm your preferred external option when ordering.

White, Off White, Cream, Elephant’s Breath, Dovetale and Worsted.

Dark Colours

Downpipe, Railings, Stiffkey Blue and Hague Blue.

Wood Finishes and Raw Wood

Full Wood Stain and Lacquer: pine, honey, medium oak or dark oak. Alternatively, select Hand Waxed - pine colour only for a hand-waxed pine finish, or Raw Wood (DIY Finishing) for unfinished pine.

Special Colours and Colour Match Mix

Green #1, Green/Grey #5, Green #16, Green #21, Yellow #1 and Yellow #2.

For one of our special colours, select Special Colour Paint Green #21 in the dropdown and enter your chosen special shade in Special instructions to seller.

For a custom colour match, select Colour Match Mix and enter the paint manufacturer and colour name in Special instructions to seller.
