Hallway Coat and Shoe Storage, Option 5

Keep coats on double hooks and shoes, bags and everyday essentials neatly stored behind full-height Shaker-style doors. This handmade solid pine two-door cupboard combines a fixed upper shelf with two adjustable lower shelves in a shallow 35 cm-deep design for hallways, cloakrooms and utility rooms.

Hand built to order in our UK workshop from solid Scandinavian redwood pine using traditional cabinet-making techniques.

Maximum External Dimensions

  • Height: 190 cm.
  • Depth: 35 cm.
  • Widths: 60, 80, 90 or 100 cm.

All listed external sizes are maximum measurements, including the top overhang and protruding base plinth. The internal depth is approximately 29 cm. Internal storage measurements are separate from external dimensions; allow additional clearance for opening doors, positioning and delivery access.

Three-Shelf Storage Layout

  • One fixed upper shelf, positioned 152 cm from the internal base, for hats, gloves, bags or storage baskets.
  • Double coat hooks beneath the upper shelf.
  • Two adjustable, removable lower shelves for shoes, boots and other belongings.
  • Lower shelves adjust in 2.5 cm increments.

You can request the cupboard without the upper shelf so the hooks can be positioned higher. Please specify this in your special instructions when ordering. This alternative has two lower shelves rather than the standard three-shelf layout.

Coat Hook Quantities

  • 60 cm width: five double hooks.
  • 80 or 90 cm width: six double hooks.
  • 100 cm width: seven double hooks.

Standard clothes hangers cannot be used at the approximately 29 cm internal depth, so double hooks are fitted instead. Check the internal space against your footwear and other belongings before ordering.

Colour and Finish Options

The Shaker-style design features contrasting wood finishes on the top, shelves and knobs of finished versions. Raw wood is available for DIY finishing.

Special Colours

Green #1, Green/Grey #5, Green #16, Green #21, Yellow #1 and Yellow #2.

The selector also includes light wax and Black RAL9005.
