2-Door Hallway Coat and Shoe Storage Cupboard with 3 Shelves, Option 5

Give coats, shoes and everyday belongings their own place behind closed doors. This handmade solid pine cupboard combines double coat hooks with an upper shelf and adjustable lower shelving, helping keep hallways, cloakrooms and utility rooms organised.

Hand built in the UK from solid Scandinavian Redwood pine using traditional cabinet-making techniques, the main cupboard arrives fully assembled. Choose from 4 widths and a range of wood and painted finishes.

Maximum External Dimensions

Maximum external width options: 60 cm, 80 cm, 90 cm or 100 cm

Maximum external height: 190 cm

Maximum external depth: 40 cm

These are maximum external measurements, including top overhangs and the protruding base plinth, rather than internal storage measurements. Please check your space and delivery access before ordering.

Approximate internal depth: 34 cm. This is not deep enough for clothes hangers used in the normal way, which is why coat hooks are fitted instead of hanging rails.

Internal Storage Layout

Upper Shelf and Coat Storage

  • 1 fixed upper shelf, positioned 152 cm from the internal base.
  • Space above for hats, gloves, bags or storage baskets.
  • Double coat hooks for everyday hanging storage.
  • Contrasting internal wood-finish shelves are pine; the internal shelf stain is not selectable.

The cupboard is also available without the upper shelf so the hooks can be positioned higher. Please specify this request in the Special instructions to seller box when ordering.

Lower Storage Area

  • 2 adjustable or removable shelves for shoes, boots, bags and household items.
  • Shelves adjust in 2.5 cm increments.
  • Contrasting internal wood-finish shelves are pine.

Double Coat Hooks by Width

60 cm-wide cupboard: 5 double coat hooks.

80 cm-wide cupboard: 6 double coat hooks.

90 cm-wide cupboard: 6 double coat hooks.

100 cm-wide cupboard: 7 double coat hooks.

  • Contrasting wood finish on the top, shelves and knobs.
  • Main cupboard delivered fully assembled, with no flat-pack assembly required.

Optional Extra Storage Top Box

Add enclosed storage above your cupboard with a matching 40 cm-deep storage top box. This is an optional addition, ordered separately.

Choose Double Door on the top-box listing and enter your cupboard width, 60 cm, 80 cm, 90 cm or 100 cm, in the Special instructions to seller box. Confirm the cupboard model, width, depth and matching style when ordering; door count alone does not establish compatibility.

The top box is 40 cm high, giving a combined cupboard and top-box height of 230 cm. Allow additional clearance for lifting and fitting, and check your ceiling height before ordering.

The top box is supplied separately. Customers must lift it into position and simply secure it using the supplied screws. The delivery team does not carry out this securing task. This is straightforward securing, not complicated flat-pack assembly; arrange suitable help for lifting.

Finishes and Colour Groups

Choose raw wood for DIY finishing, a waxed or stained and lacquered wood finish, or a painted finish. The ordering groups below include both wood finishes and paint colours.

Light Colours and Finishes

White, Off White, Cream, Elephant’s Breath, Dovetale and Worsted.

Dark Colours and Finishes

Full Hand Waxed, Downpipe, Railings, Stiffkey Blue and Hague Blue.

Special Colours

Green #1, Green/Grey #5, Green #16, Green #21, Yellow #1 and Yellow #2.

Select your chosen shade directly where listed. For special shades not shown individually, select a special colour that is  and include your chosen colour in the Special instructions to seller box.

Wood Colours

External wood stain choices are pine, honey, medium oak or dark oak.

Choose your stain from the 4 available in the wood sample chart below and select Full Wood Stain and Lacquer. Enter your chosen external stain in the Special instructions to seller box.

Raw Wood

Select Raw Wood (DIY Finishing) for unfinished wood to finish yourself.

Colour Match Mix

A custom paint colour of your choice that is not listed.

If your preferred colour is not shown in the dropdown menu, select the correct colour group from above and include the colour name in the Special instructions to seller box when ordering. For a custom colour match, select Paint - Colour Match Mix and include the paint manufacturer and colour name in the Special instructions to seller box.
