Keep night-time essentials organised with this handcrafted solid pine bedside cabinet, also known as a bedside chest or pot cupboard. The open storage space keeps everyday items within reach, while the cupboard provides a place to tuck things away and keep your bedroom surfaces clear.

Each piece is handmade to order in our Chester workshop and delivered fully assembled, ready to use. Its practical storage and contemporary styling bring the character of individually crafted furniture to your bedroom.

All external measurements are maximum sizes and include the top overhangs and protruding base plinth.

Choose a Single Cabinet or Pair

Select your preferred option from the quantity dropdown:

• 1 bedside cabinet with a left-hinged door.
• 1 bedside cabinet with a right-hinged door.
• A pair of bedside cabinets: 1 left-hinged door and 1 right-hinged door.

Each cabinet has 1 door and an open storage space. A matching pair creates a balanced, symmetrical bedroom arrangement.

Design and Craftsmanship

A contemporary Shaker, plain design offers clean, modern lines, with a profiled plinth and top. See the reference image below for the design information.

Built by skilled craftsmen using traditional techniques, each piece is unique and made to order rather than mass-produced. The 100% solid pine construction contains no MDF, chipboard or veneers and is designed for strength, durability and everyday use.

Raw Wood

Raw Wood, unfinished for DIY finishing.

Light Colours

Pine Stain & Lacquer, White, Off White, Cream, Elephant’s Breath, Dovetale and Worsted.

Dark Colours

Full Hand Waxed, Medium Oak Stain & Lacquer, Dark Oak Stain & Lacquer, Downpipe, Railings, Stiffkey Blue and Hague Blue.

Special Colours

Green #1, Green/Grey #5, Green #16, Green #21, Yellow #1 and Yellow #2.

Colour Match Mix

We can mix a custom colour of your choice if it is not listed above. Select “Colour Match Mix - one we do not list or offer” and enter the paint manufacturer and colour name in the Special instructions to seller box.

Ordering Your Finish

The colour dropdown offers wood finishes, light-coloured paints, dark-coloured paints, special-coloured paints, Colour Match Mix and Raw Wood. Select the appropriate finish group and enter your chosen finish in the Special instructions to seller box.

If your preferred finish is not shown individually in the dropdown menu, select a colour from the correct group and enter the desired replacement colour in the Special instructions to seller box. Use the wood-finish group for stain, lacquer or wax finishes, and the appropriate paint group for painted colours. For a custom colour not listed, choose Colour Match Mix.

Delivery: Fully Assembled

Your bedside cabinet is delivered fully assembled. No flat-pack or self-assembly is required, so it is ready to place straight into your home.
